Day 1 - Arrive Lima
On arrival at Lima Airport, you will be met and transferred to your HOTEL for your two-night stay.
Day 2 - Lima
After breakfast, you will be taken on a guided city tour. Explore the old town, a UNESCO World Heritage site that boasts a rich history and exquisite architecture. Visit the Main Square, Lima Cathedral, Casa Aliaga and Larco Museum. In the afternoon, visit Love Park, offering a fantastic view of the Pacific Ocean from the cliffs. (B)
Day 3 - Lima – Arequipa
This morning you will be transferred to the Lima airport for your flight to Arequipa. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your HOTEL before exploring the city and the Monastery of Santa Catalina, a religious citadel built in 1579. Continue to the Yanahuara and Carmen Alto districts, which boast incredible views of the countryside before returning to your hotel. (B)
Day 4 - Arequipa – Valley and Colca Canyon
After breakfast, depart the city via Yura. Enjoy views of the rugged landscape before reaching Pampa Canahuas Reserve where you will have the chance to see vicunas and Andean camelid. Continue to Mirador de los Andes, from where you can see the volcanoes that surround Arequipa. Enjoy lunch in Chivay before checking in to your HOTEL. (B, L)
Day 5 - Valley and Colca Canyon – Puno
Today you will head to Condor Cross, where you can observe the stunning Colca Valley. Return to Chivay and visit multiple viewing points before continuing to Puno. On your journey, witness crystal blue lagoons that are home to cranes, as well as stone forests. Upon arrival, check in to your HOTEL for your two night stay. (B, L)
Day 6 - Puno – Lake Titicaca
This morning you will be transferred to Puno’s lake port. Here, you will board a boat that will take you to the floating islands of Uros. The Uros community live on islands constructed from woven reeds. It is here, they live in houses woven from reeds and cook outdoors to avoid fires. After your tour, continue to the island of Taquile, which was once part of the Inca Empire. Enjoy lunch before returning to Puno. (B, L)
Day 7 - Puno – Cusco
After breakfast, you will be transferred by road to Cusco. Along the way, enjoy stops at various points of interest. Pucara is the first stop, the first urban settlement in the highlands. Continue to La Raya before enjoying lunch at Sicuani. Racchi is the next stop, where you will visit Wiracocha Temple. The final stop is at the Church of Andahuaylillas. This religious site is hundreds of years old and houses beautiful artwork, as well as a spectacular colonial organ. Continue to Cusco and check in to your HOTEL for your three-night stay. (B, L)
Day 8 - Cusco
Today you will be taken on a tour of the city and nearby archaeological sites. Begin at Coricancha, also known as “Temple of the Sun”. Built by Inca Pachacuti, the Spaniards reclaimed it as the foundation of the Santo Domingo Convent. Continue to other sites including the Cathedral, Sacsayhuaman, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay. At the conclusion of your tour, return to the hotel. (B)
